“An Act restoring campaign contribution limits for campaigns for state and local office.”

Alaska's previous limits on campaign contributions were established by 73% of voters in 2006 and lasted until 2021 when a federal court threw them out.

Governor Dunleavy and the Alaska Legislature have failed to act and Alaska's state and municipal elections are currently exposed to unlimited contributions from wealthy donors.

With unlimited contributions, the volume on campaigns is turned up and the average citizen’s voice can be easily drowned out. It’s time for Alaska to set reasonable and responsible limits on campaign finance.

Citizens Against Money in Politics (CAMP) is a local group working to put the question of campaign limits to the voters of Alaska. We appreciate your donations and support in collecting signatures.
